They eat them frozen? that sounds kind of gross, but they are no more bad for you than when they are toasted. They are actually a source of B12 (one of the few non-meat items that is)
I wouldn't go so far as to say they are good for you, but I don't think they are that detrimental. Unless they are eating a ton of them.
Yes because they need to thaw out. It's not that hard to throw them in a toaster for 1-2 minutes. Tell your cousins to stop being lazy.
