crackers, nuts, muffins (well already cooked I suppose) cereal, chex mix, pretzels, ringdings, hostess cakes, little debbies, nut clusters, granola bars, goldfish, rice cakes, um fruits like apples, oranges, tangerines, bananas.... pb&J sandwiches (or pb and fluff, honey etc...)

>Well, the fact is, that if food is not preserved (keeping them cold is a preservation method) it has to be preserved some other way or it goes bad fast. That's just the bottom line. Chips and cookies aren't healthy for you if you are trying to watch your food intake. You might consider freeze dried or dehydrated foods that have not had any sulfur dioxide, salt or other chemicals added to them then, if you are going to consider health and remain in this restricted category. MILRATS (military rations) or RTE (ready to eat) foods are freeze dried and all you have to do is add water to them to eat. That might be something to look into.
