Best Homecooked meal you've ever had?!

I am 31 and have never in my life had an omlet, but yesterday my 8 year old daughter (very nearly 9) made me one with a little help from her dad and I swear it was the best thing i have ever tasted! Simple things eh!!

Me and a friend caught the train up London (70 miles away) to pick up this old motorbike with the intention of bringing it back, taking it in turns to ride it/ be pillion. 5 mins after buying the bike the heavens opened and didn't let up. On top of that the chain was on its last legs and we had to stop every 10 minutes or so to tighten it up. To say we were cold and wet was an understatement. We eventually got to my house 4 1/2 hours later. We dried off and 5 mins later my dad had dished up 2 massive sirloin steaks, jersey new potatoes with butter and fresh veg along with 2 cold beers. That meal tasted better than any other I've had......and I've been a professional chef for 16 years!

i know its sad but i think christmas dinner coz theres so many diff things but it all comes together on the plate lol
