In a paper bag with an apple

They turn brown fastest when next to an over-ripe banana which gives off some type of gas ( forget what it`s called ) that will accelerate the ripening of any fruit. Next best thing, the sunny windowsill. Then the bag (at room temperature ) etc:

The fastest way to ripen most fruits is to put them in a closed paper bag.

This sounds like an experiment for school. In wich casse you need to get some banans and do this experiment.

keep in the shade and keep away from other fruit,it is best if you pu them on a hook to hang.

Sunny window I'd say
