They say "Eat the colors of the rainbow".

It would be hard to say what are the healthiest because they all have differing nutrient values. But spinach is great for iron. I like broccoli and cauliflower and they are good for lots of nutrients like calcium. Bell peppers add a great taste to pastas and salads. Carrots add sweetness. Kiwi fruits are good for vitamin C. Apples are sweet and contain a reasonable amount of fibre. Bananas are yummy and make great smoothies and cakes. I could go on and on!

But don't forget oatmeal, yogurt, lean meat, olive oil and such good stuff! :)

Bananas are the most filling and full of potassium, jacket potatoes, tomatoes, apples, parsnips all fruit/veg is good although citrus fruits are a bit sharp on the stomach if it`s empty. I read somewhere that pineapple is bad for the heart but can`t confirm and don`t mix cranberries with Warfarin.
Porridge oats are very satisfying and lower cholesterol.

All of them.

Apples are a good snack before lunch, say 3 times a week. The fiber in them help to fill you up.
