Mango, avacado and tomato salsa?!
Well I'm trying this out for the first time to go with some fish. But my ingredients are very limited.
Here's what the recipe calls for:
1 mango - peeled, seeded and diced
1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and diced
4 medium tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped red onion
3 tablespoons olive oil
I don't have jalape?o or cilantro. As for the garlic, I only have it in seasoning form, can I just add that in there for the flavor or would it be better to leave it out?
I also don't have lime juice. But I do have Minute Maid lemonade which smells very similar to pure lemon juice, would it be okay to use that as a substitute?

Why don't you wait until you have the ingredients. This is a great recipe and you could spoil it by not having the right ingredients.
If you don't have the right ingredients, don't make it, you'll ruin it! Substituting just the minute maid lemonade is going to ruin it and make it super sweet, not to mention all the other subs you are going to make...
