Is it unhealthy to eat a sandwich for breakfast?!

Question: Is it unhealthy to eat a sandwich for breakfast?
Sometimes i can't be bothered with just normal cereal so i'll have a chicken salad sandwich...is that unhealthy for breakfast?

Answers:

dude you can eat what ever you want man, and ur suppose to eat bigger meals in the morning

No and Yes. You have to look at the components that make up your sandwich. The bread should be whole grain, no preservatives extra fat or corn syrup. The chicken part is fine but what is the sauce it is in? Mayo has some weird ingredients in it that are worth investigating. I would say, it's no worse than cereal. It may actually be better if we are comparing a sandwich to say... reeses cereal, cinammon toast crunch.. They're freaking delicious but seriously.. they have enough sugar to be considered a dessert.Overall though, I know we Americans as a whole have to re-think our concept of a healthy diet. I hate the idea that our country is malnourished when we don't have to be.

No, that's fine. I mean it would just be unhealthy if you had like pancakes or waffles with cream and chocolate sauce or something, everyday. But now and again.

I think it's best to vary breakfast! Then you have something different each day!!!

No, it most definately not unhealthy to have a sandwich for breakfast, You can have anything you want or like,as long as you don't skip breakfast

Me

That's fine. Eat the sandwich with wheat bread and have a glass of orange and you have a perfectly healthy breakfast - just go easy on the mayo.

No, as long as the sandwich has protein in it that's find! But you can also top that with more healthy stuff like a glass of milk and yogurt!

Me!!

>I don't think it is unhealthy. What is unhealthy is not eating any breakfast at all.

no referrences say that eating sandwich for breakfast is unhealthy..so its just right.

Wonderful choice. It is healthy unless , of course, you are allergic to bread or chicken!!

No, I have scrambled egg sandwich quite often.

It is only what you put with it, like mayonnaise etc. Use lite. Otherwise it is fine..

yes...but it depends on your ingredient.
