what foods have carbs?!


Question: What foods have carbs?
i need to cut down on food and am wondering what foods should i stop eating with high carbs and which i should eat with low carbs i need about 50 a day?

Pasta
Rice
Any cereal, like breakfast cereal
Modified or Regular starch
Any source of starches
Corn, peas, potatoes, yams, sweet potatoes
Sugars are carbohydrates, so consider all fruits to be a source of carbohydrates
Sugar
Molasses
Honey
Corn Syrup
High Fructose Corn Syrup
Pastries of any kind, any baked good, cakes, croissants, cookies, doughnuts, jelly filled pastries
Crackers of any kind, wheat, graham, cheese crakers, any kind of cracker



Loads of foods have carbs, anything made with flour (eg bread pasta pastry) or sugar (including sweets fruits and some drinks (including alcohol)) you're better off eating foods which are complex carbohydrate based for your carb allowance, I'd go for things such as brown bread and brown rice and potatoes. Conventional wisdom suggests carb based foods should make up around 33% of your colorie intake of which most should be complex, so basically if you're looking to improve your diet I'd suggest eating brown rice or potatoes as an accompaniment to meals in leu of bread and use your simple carb allowance for fruits, oranges are a good bet as they're rich in vitamin C but also mangoes and papaya gave surprising health benefits

Lots of things have carbs! Bread, Pasta, Baked goods, Potatoes, Beans.... anything else with flour in it...

Obviously some are better for you than others. It's good to get some carbs from things like beans, and potatoes aren't that bad; if you're going to cut something out, I'd avoid bread and baked goods, and possibly pasta.



Almost everything has carbs :P

The worst are:
1) Soda
2) Bread (especially white)
3) Cereals
4) Juices
5) Candy



Things that aren't meat, veggies, and fruits
except potatoes..those are carbs. but mostly pasta, bread etc.
most white food is a carb.

All i eat are carbs! :D and im underweight!
