Do doughnuts defrost in an hour ?!

Question: Do doughnuts defrost in an hour ?
It's my birthday and my mum just came back from the shop with like a giant bag of doughnuts but they were refrigerated in the shop .(like as cold as the chicken )
So would it defrost in 1h before the guests arrive?

(putting the sealed bag in warm water is not an option ,they're glazed )

Answers:

yes it will i work at dunkin donuts, i should know

Yes, if the air is warm enough. Find the warmest place that it's convenient to put them.

If they don't warm up in time you could pop them in the oven very briefly at a low temperature, or a microwave. Be careful with both -- microwaves can melt things and make them gummy, whereas ovens can dry things out.

Heating them up in the oven might have the best results--sometimes refrigerated baked goods can taste a bit stale but heating them briefly can get them tasting just like new.

if they were REFRIGERATED in the shop, they are not frozen....
lay them out as you intend to serve them and cover the platter with plastic wrap to keep them moist. They will be fine in an hour, probably mostly softened by the time you are done laying them out.

depends on the room temperature, at the North Pole with no heating they may never defrost

Yes they should just keep them at room temp
