Question about Eating, once a day buffet style?!

Question: Question about Eating, once a day buffet style?
I usually dont eat until after I get off of work, I always go to a buffet restaurant where I can eat as much as I want. I usually go for all of the healthy foods first like vegis, fish and lean meats and then
what ever room I have left I load up on carby, starchy foods that my bodys been craving, like mac ncheese, mashed potatoes, pizza, pastas and breads and then last I go for the sweets, what ever they have that looks appealing to me, I eat it. I take multi vitamin supplements first thing in the morning and I workout everyday. I am a male 5'9 165-170 lbs 7-9% bf. Im convinced that the reason im able to keep my bodyfat level low is because of how I workout. My question is, will my body consume enough protein during these once a day feasts to meet the daily requirements? Im not a bodybuilder and my goal isnt to be a massive meat head, I just want to be healthy and be happy.

On an average 2,000 calorie diet a male only needs 50-60 grams of protein per day. That being said, when you eat large amounts of food all at once, the body may not be able to process all of your daily requirements it needs. On average the liver can only process about 40-50 grams of protein. However because your main source of nutrition is being broken down all at once, it may be even less in your case. But, as long as you're not shrinking and you feel healthy then you should be fine.
