I like it, but only when it's aligned with the flavor. I hate it being so strong i can't taste it.

I like chili flavored sauces and crisps, they're not that strong, the spice is part of the flavor.
When it comes to curries, i like up to 7/10 only, my dad has this REALLY hot curry, 11/10! LOL. It's so spicy you can't enjoy it.
Onions are nice in burgers and flavorings etc. Jalapeno peppers are yummy too. I love veggie pizzas - i add so much chili's and peppers to them it's unreal.
I love spicy food, years ago when I lived in the UK, I used to go to an Indian restaurant, they did all types of curries, from mild through to a Phal, then they had the CHEFS SPECIAL, with this the waiter used to bring a fire extinguisher and stand it at the side of the person who had ordered the special!!!
Reckon you could say this spciy dish would rate a very high 10+++++++++++++!!!
Hotter the better, Thai can be hotter than Indian. But when a foreigner eats in a Thai restaurant they automatically put less chillies unless you ask for it Thai style.
In Thailand I tried native curry paste, mainly chillies crushed in a mortar and pestle, with raw veg to dip in it. They didn't believe I could eat it.
I agree spicy stuff is yummy but if it's unbearably spicy you don't enjoy it and you lose the flavour! :p

i do like spicy food, but im more of a mild-spicy... maybe 6 on the spicy scale haha :-D lamb currys quite nice though, have to say...
