Here's another perfect reason to go organic?!
Answers:
I am not a fan of canned vegetables myself, prefer fresh or frozen. But "organic" you also have to worry about pests occasionally, seeing as how they don't use pesticides in the growing process. Just labeling the product "organic" doesn't necessarily mean it's better.
No, I don't agree with you that finding a bot fly in canned foods is a "perfect reason" to go organic.
There is canned organic food too.
However, if your position was to avoid canned/processed foods.
The bot fly example would be appropriate.
What you've done is just reinforced my belief that people should eat fresh and avoild canned foods, whether they be canned organic or canned conventionally grown foods.
It doesn't mater if its organic or not, when it comes to large production plants its is next to impossible to keep out every bug. You will find bugs in just about anything, including your organic food.
Its not the bugs that you can see that you have to worry about, its the ones that you can't.
