Why do people always submit there questions to the wrong category?!

I think a lot of it is the way Yahoo has set up asking a question too. The asker may not even notice that they're asked to select a category *after* they've written a subject and question. Also, if you edit at all, seems like I remember that some crazy default category comes back up replacing the one you may have selected.

Also, a lot of newbies just don't understand that much about the way the site is set up. Again partly Yahoo's fault, and they don't even have a listing of all the categories and subcategories on one page so people can see what's here and "browse" the possibilities...geez, how *hard* would that be?!!

Just goes to show that laziness is its own reward--you're so much less likely to get a correct answer in the wrong category!

I guess people just want to post questions very quickly and forget to select a category.

Probably the same reason that you are no good at spelling. "There" instead of "their."
