why is it so expensive to eat at a steak in missouri?!
i recently moved from so. cal it was cheaperand easier to find a decent priced meal here we are ssurroundedby cattle and chicken house (gross) and all the restaurantway more expensive even the stores are high and its really hard to find a good place to eat at any price i guess i took for granted all the good restaurants we had in orange county

California is kind of known as this garden of eden where you can grow and raise just about anything quite easily. It's not so easy in other parts of the country and so the price is higher to raise it there or to have the product shipped in. My advice, learn to like chicken as it is your local product. Try and find local farmers who raise their own meat rather than the factory farmed carcasses in the store. No matter where you are from you always miss "home" and the style of food that was there.
