Why can pizza's be cooked in 30 minutes?!

they aren't very thick and the heat can penetrate easily. also, nothing needs to be cooked for long on a pizza. usually the meat is already cooked and just needs to be heated through.
Pizza can be cooked in 8 minutes, it's not the cooking that takes the longest, it's preparing the ingredients
uhm, real pizza (in italy) cooked in a wood burning oven takes like 5 minutes.
everything IS FRESH NOT FROZEN AND OVEN TEMP. IS 500 DEGREES!

30minutes? my one from the Asda delicatessen counter takes 12mins!
as they are thin and therefor do not require much cooking.job done!
ovens are that hot!
