they are referring to a red delicious apple. Which some people prefer. So you can either take this as a compliment or an insult. I would say it's in the middle. I see it as offensive, but they could have meant well.

It means you're a great person, there's delicious apples (great people) and there's disgusting apples (terrible people) or it could of been sarcasm meaning the exact opposite of what I just said

There is a variety of apple called golden delicious. Some people are called bad apples. So it is a play on words.

I thinks it pretty self explanatory.
Apples normally taste pretty good. Guess that means you do to? Ew wait a second....
