is a regular frosted cake still safe to eat if it was wrapped in brown paper towels?!

Question: Is a regular frosted cake still safe to eat if it was wrapped in brown paper towels?
Answers:

Do you mean you left it out for a while and you hope it didn't spoil or are you worried something may leach off of the paper towel onto the cake? Either way, you're safe. Cakes can be left out in room temperature and brown paper towels are just recycled or non-bleached paper towels and are safe to put food on.

I think I ate part of a brown paper towel when I was a kid.

yes.
