Cigarettes for a first-time smoker?!

Question: Cigarettes for a first-time smoker?
I just want to try smoking for the sake of trying it, not to become a smoker. So what kind of cigarettes should I try my first time? I heard I'm gonna feel sick....

Candy cigarettes.=)

That's possibly one of the most stupidest ideas I've ever heard. What makes you think you're stronger willed than all the other people who "just tried" smoking and are still smoking years later? Cigarettes are full of additives - 599 to be exact. Their sole purpose in this world is to get you addicted so you'll keep buying them and make their creators rich. So make no mistake - when you smoke you are choosing to poison your body - the damage they do can last for years. There is nothing cool about it.

"Over 4000 chemical compounds are created by burning a cigarette, many of which are toxic and/or carcinogenic. Carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen cyanide and ammonia are all present in cigarette smoke. Forty-three known carcinogens are in mainstream smoke, sidestream smoke, or both." http://quitsmoking.about.com/cs/nicotine… :-)

Take it from someone that once was a smoker and FINALLY go to quit, don't try it. Trust me, everyone says that they can stop when they want, but the truth is, it's addicting. Plain and simple. However, if you are going to try it, I can tell you DO NOT try menthol cigarettes your first time. It will make you more sick to your stomach than regular cigarettes. Your best bet is to go with Lights, not full flavors, and if your buying, get kings, not 100s. Bet the best suggestion to give you is don't try it at all. If you do get hooked, it's a pain to quit. Take it from someone that went through it themselves.

just trying to prevent u from making the mistake i did

You will indeed feel very sick. You'll feel really nauseous and you'll cough a lot. Don't breathe in a lot at once and don't even think about breathing in or out of your nose. Don't breathe in more after you pull the cigarette away (BIG mistake on my part!!). Don't buy a pack of your own if you're not going to stick with it, just buy a cigarette off someone.

For the record, I don't smoke and was never addicted to smoking. It's a horrible habit, and everyone I know who does it is trying hard to quit.

ok im not going to lie, im 15 im not a heavy smoker but it does feel pretty good when you smoke trust me anyways, the first smoke i ever had was when i was 11, me and my friend went out the back of his place and roled cotton buds with paper and smoker that, and it was disgusting, when i really wanted to smoke the first ciggarete i had was stockmas blue tobacco, with tally ho's and no filter and it was great, sitting with some mates and smoking, i would reccomend for a first times smoker blue stockmans tobacco, you dont get sick just try not to take a huge load in, and inhale it dont keep it in you mouth cause that is worse than inhaling it, and you will get head spins (makes you feel like your high) so just lie down and rest!!

and dont try a cigar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......trust my if you want to smoke a cigar then get a normal smoke like winifield blue and rip the filter off!....thats a cigar and they do more damage!!

If you ABSOLUTELY MUST, try a cigar instead. They don't seem to be as addictive. My grandfather was able to just quit as was my best friend's dad, no withdrawal symptoms and my own dad will smoke a cigar "with the guys" though he is by NO stretch of the imagination a smoker.

you WILL feel sick to your stomach..... you WILL get dizzy... you WILL have a headache... you WILL cough and choke ... It will be like eating ashes.. its not tasty. . better not try it....

i've been smoking the last 15 years hun.. its not worth it. you will never have the WILL POWER to quit and WILL DIE of cancer!

Dont try smoking EVER. Its a 20th century trend that isnt even popular anymore. Trying one smoke will make you want to try even more, and that will get you addicted even if you dont want to be.
I couldnt kiss a woman who smokes because its like try kissing an ashtray

Try Marlboro Lights 100's or any other 100's type. Smoking is sexy. If you don't do it all the time you won't get addicted. You should at least try it.

Camel Turkish Silver

Yes I feel sick just thinking about it. Ex-smoker and glad.

Try some 'chaw instead

Really, just don't.
