Does anyone have a thermomix?!

Question: Does anyone have a thermomix?
I was wondering if any people have a thermomix and what they thought of them

I don't have any other modern fast appliances so I was wondering I they are worth the money and good quality

Answers:

Hi,
Yes I have one. They are great machines. We've been using ours for 18 months and haven't had a problem.

I was sold on the demo, but I did my homework on the internet, reading reviews. The only complaint I found was the price. But you save in the long run, because it's so easy to quickly prepare home cooked meals, and dips, desserts, juices, shakes, breakfast, bread dough, pizza dough, ice cream, salads, risotto etc. The only thing it can't do is bake.

Here is a good collection of Thermomix review links for you read:

Hope this helps and answers your question.

I have one and it has changed my kitchen and my lifestyle dramatically. In fact, I started blogging about it. As much as I love it, I chose not to become a sales agent, but to simply share my views and 'celebrate' this super kitchen machine called Thermomix. You can read plenty of reviews all over the web, and you will find an overwhelming number of positives there. This is an accurate representation of how users truly feel about it. Most Thermomix owners are passionate about the machine because despite its high price tag, it delivers MORE than expected. (a rare thing in this day and age)

The only real downfall as I see it, is that this wonderful kitchen appliance is not sold in USA. You will have to go to the manufacturers website (see "Where to buy" my blog) to find the dealer who is closest to you, and take it from there.

I highly recommend you do your own searches and see what you'll find. A good place to start is with all the videos listed at http://SuperKitchenMachine.com

I attended a demo. Thought about it. Everything I cooked from then on, I thought "it'd be easier/quicker/cleaner with a Tmix". So got one. It's great, especially for people who are highly allergic to various processed foods (who knew icing sugar wasn't pure sugar etc). I use it alot for baby food, making soups. shortbread takes longer to get ingredients out than to actually make it - and is great too.

A close friend of mine has one and she swears by it. She's a professional chef so I trust her judgement on such matters.
