What would you consider a lot of food in one day?!

Question: What would you consider a lot of food in one day?
Answers:

That is largely going to depend upon your level of physical activity!

Old-time (axe-swinging) lumberjacks would have 1) a hearty breakfast just before daybreak, 2) a second breakfast around 10 or 11, the cooks would move camp and then 3) 'lunch' between 1 and 3, and then 4) dinner.

Each meal would be around 1000 calories, high-carb and loaded with protein.

For their level of activity 4000 calories a day was not excessive.

For me? Death within a week.

For an average person (if there is such a thing) 1000-1600 calories of high-quality low-fat proteins, vegetables and carbs is plenty for normal (again, if there is such a thing) operation of the human body.

Your performance and results may vary, consult your doctor, and eat healthy!

Best wishes!

I think over 400 cal for breakfast, then over 700 for lunch then from 700-beyond for dinner is too much, i would aim for lower than this during a normal day...i tend to have dinner as my main meal and then light lunch and breakfasts and snack on fruit etc, but i can live with a couple of hearty meals a day, just not very often!! xx

anything over sort of 2000 calories if female, 2500 if male

Milk and chapathi

i consider fish & rice in one day.
