How to make scented candles?!

Question: How to make scented candles?
My mom just pulled some of her famous "power" cookies out of the oven, and their freshly-baked delicious aroma made me want to glue one to my upper lip. So I jokingly said to my mom, "I wish we could buy a power cookie scented candle!" Then I realized, why couldn't I? Unfortunately, I have no idea how to achieve this, and I don't think mixing the batter with liquid wax is a good idea. (Wouldn't it just burn the dough thats mixed with it? Ew, burning cookie smell.)

Now I'm asking you for help, fellow yahoo-answerers. Can one of you save me from a gluey upper lip?

Go to a candle store and find a cookie scented candle.

paraffin wax
wick
aroma oil of your choice
potpourri
skewer

1. take a transparent candle container of your choice
in which you want to make a candle in, place potpourri on the inside edge of the container so that it's visible from inside when you pour the paraffin wax in.

2. place paraffin wax in a mixing bowl and place it on a pan of boiling water, place it in a way as melting chocolate. Let the wax come to a melting point, add a few drop's of aroma oil of your choice to the wax.

3.pour the hot wax into the container and immediately place the wick in the center of the container so that one end touches the bottom and the other end hangs out. wrap the hanging end onto a skewer and place it on the container so that it supports the wick to so stay right in place

4. let the candle sit at room Temperature

5.Light the candle and enjoy

You have to first buy wax, wicks and empty glass containers that you like for the candle. Any wax is good, I personally like soy wax because it's more environmentally friendly to burn. Then you buy scented oils specially for candle making, and you can mix scents if you like. At the craft store Michaels, they have Sugar cookie scent oil for candles, as well as cinnamon, or vanilla, etc.
