Why do resturaunts offer more than one size of fountain drink?!
You can just refill it as many times as you want, so it really doesn't matter what size your cup is

Some otherwise-intelligent people will honestly pay more for a bigger cup, even with the free refills. PT Barnum would have loved this.
I have seen this as well. But fountain drinks are super super low food cost for a business. Example:
32oz soft drink in a lot of places is around $1.50 okay. Well the cup is 2 or 3 cents and the product is about 2 or 3 cents or less.
