Sugar is a carbohydrate in the same way any other carbohydrate is. It becomes processed into ATP for cell use as energy, and stored excess in fat. the body turns most carbohydrates into sugars in the digestion process. It's natural.
People keep blaming the US obesity problem on it, but I can tell you one thing about everyone I know who has trouble losing weight: They don't graze.
We are natural grazers. I'm the thinnest person in a family of heart issues and obesity problems, because I eat in small portions throughout the day, rather than throwing in all in 3 times a day and starving between.
Stress causes obesity, unnatural eating patterns cause obesity, genetics, hormones, environmental factors. But I have yet to see a actual correlation between obesity and sugar.
Is it just a "word going 'round" that since fats store sugars, that eating sugar automatically means more fat? How the body stores fat is determines more than just excess sugar. So it is just a meme?

Everyone doesn't hate sugar so much. And one of the main contributors of the ''US obesity problem'' is HFCS. Stay in your lane. Most foods containing the preservative HFCS is high in HFCS.. Most of the people who believe HFCS is safe or healthy get their information on high fructose corn syrup is coming from the people that make it or the corrupt FDA because we subsidize corn. It is, not from all the research and studies that reputable people and organizations have done. People in the junk food industry like breakfast cereals and Coca-Cola are giving only very small pieces of the puzzle along with WRONG information and failed to discuss the big picture which isn't their place to begin with.

Your right sugar is okay. However we do cosume to much. Fruit juice to me is okay as long as it is a No sugar added. There is no need to add sugar to something that is naturally sweet.
But we all eat to much junk such as candy, soda, ice cream, sweets in general.
Sugar is fine. It's the moderation we all have issues with.
It isn't that they hate sugar but it is run down by those who promote the use of excessively who tell you not to use them.

people arent suppose to have sugar,we cant process it that good through our systems.
