Does microwaving kill the nutrients in tea?!

Question: Does microwaving kill the nutrients in tea?
I always heat my cup of water in the microwave 1st then I add my tea. I always thought that nuking my tea would kill all the nutrients but I now I cant find anything to back my theory. Also, if this is true, would it kill the nutrients in food as well, or am I just paranoid?

Answers:

No, it won't kill the nutrients in your tea. However, since the water does not boil as vigorously, not as much oxygen is exchanged and the flavor is altered slightly.

And gentle microwaving is actually one of the best ways to preserve water-soluble vitamins in vegetables, since not as much water must be used. It's heat that destroys vitamins, not the source of the heat.

No it doesn't kill the nutrients of the tea but flavor changes to little.
