Question: What is a Sunfruit (it looked like a mango to me)?

I got some fruit from the store and thought they were mangoes, they looked very similar. I noticed a sticker that said "Sunfruit" and "Peru" under it. Unfortunately my internet searching has proved unfruitful (haha fruit humor). So what is it and what is the best way to eat?
