The original flavor is dutch edam.
They do have other flavors like gouda, swiss and cheddar.

Babybel is REAL cheese, it is not processed cheese food product.

Ingredients: Pasteurized cultured milk, salt, enzymes.

Now compare that, with the ingredients on a pack of kraft singles slices :

Cheddar cheese, milk, whey, milkfat, milk protein concentrate, salt, calcium phosphate, sodium citrate, whey protein concentrate, sodium phosphate, sorbic acid as a preservative, apocarotenal (color), annatto (color), enzymes, vitamin D3, cheese culture, yellow dye.

yeh, they try make it to act like Edam- the yellow babybel is supposed to represent GOuda.
Either way, they;re kind of wannabe cheeses.

I have done this and it's amazing....
open a wholewheat pita and toast it lightly, then spread with butter and sliced babybels ( slice it into round circles, ) then seal the pita up, and put back in the oven til the cheese melts.
Serve with blackberry jam.

its pretty much gross fake, not cheese, its like those kraft singles cheese slices, FAKE< NOT GOOD FOR YOU, only its bleached white...

It's just a "pasteurized processsed cheese product". That means it's just fake cheese.
