Strange thing in my Sunflower seeds?!
Answers:
It was a seed pod from another plant. Probably a burr. Or it was a BUG!
>It probably sounds like a seed WITH the coating on it or it could just be an extraneous weed seed they did not manage to get out of the regular seeds. Just throw it away. Look, you can imagine, there are billions and billions of seeds being packaged every day and statistics says: 99.97% probability of certainty at the third confidence interval, there will always be .03% chance of error. This statistical chance of error cannot be removed, eliminated or remedied...it is an eternal constant fixture in mathematical statistical probability. Now just take that 0.03% probability of error and multiply it times billions and billions and you will get a very large number of errors. This means that even with the most efficient sorting machines in the world, they cannot remove every defect.
