Question: Strange thing in my Sunflower seeds?

So I eat sunflower seeds allot I have been eating them for as long as I can remember I have had salt sticks and know what they are. I found in my bag a small thing that was the same size as regular seeds but it was the shape of a football and it had little poky hairs all over it What did I just FInd Anyone?
