Why do M&M's have such a larger wikipedia page than Skittles?!

Question: Why do M&M's have such a larger wikipedia page than Skittles?
Aren't they equally popular? I even like skittles better!

Answers:

I agree that it's mainly because M&Ms have a much longer history.

Skittles will probably never be as popular, as I don't perceive any redeeming qualities there. Fruit juice maybe?

As for M&Ms, chocolate is one of mankind's greatest and favorite flavors. The peanut variety also has, well, peanuts, which are considered healthy.

Neither are really among my all time favorites, although I do love Starburst fruit chews which I believe the Skittles were derived from.

Nobody likes Skittles!

M&M's came before the Skittles. It has a longer history of course.
