Question: Theres really small black specks in my water bobble?

soooo i bought a water bobble (that one water bottle thats supposed to filter water) and for some reason there are these small black specks floating around even when i filled it with clean, already filtered water. what are these specks? are they from the carbon in the filter? can the water bobble filter this out?
