Tasty Vegetarian Meal?!

Question:

Tasty Vegetarian Meal?

Hey,
I need a good vegetarian main meal.. party sort of food which would be appropriate and enjoyed for both vegetarian and meat-eating teenagers? (16 & 17 yrs of age..)

Eggs/Cheese are fine.. no problem there.

I might just add that I'm preferably looking for a meal where nobody is likely to say something like "it would've been better with meat.."

my mom just made a vegetarian pasta the other night and it was so awsome.Just put some sause maybe the tomato and then put some shrimp (yum) and some brocoli. It will rock. maybe only for me. O&O.

cut up onions,celery,red peppers,green peppers,broccoli.
boil up spiral multi-color pasta drain and put aside.

Brown and caramelize the onions in a10" frying pan using margarine not oil.
add salt, pepper,
add the other veggies only once the onions are brown even a little burnt (gives the meaty flavor)
add 2 tea spoons garlic (type from the jar)
add paprika and curry powder
add the drained pasta stir and simmer for 5 min
you will want to keep the veggie aldente. (crunchy side)
sprinkle graded Parmesan cheese and mix together
do not cover.
spoon onto a plate preferably a bowl
add more parmesan to taste.
fast easy to make and the browned onions and garlic will give the meal a meaty taste
enjoy! what time will dinner be ready?

*Meat-free stir-fry
*Meat-free fajitas (just use broccoli, bell peppers, squash, onions and mushrooms for the filler. It's amazing. I had it at an authentic mexican resturaunt. Use corn tortillas, as the flour ones are processed usually with animal bones and therefore not vegetarian-friendly)
*Garden Burgers (they're amazingly good. My meat-eating friends will snarf them down with me willingly. lol)
*Cheese Quasadillas
*Bean Burritos
*If you're a skilled cook, make sushi or order it. You can get it with vegetables instead of fish. I still eat fish myself, because I can't give up Japanese food staples, but the vegetable-filled sushi is almost just as good and definitely doesn't have the yuck-factor some associate with sushi)
*You could also try hummus with various veggies and pita bread for dipping. If this is a party, unless its a dinner party, you probably don't need some extravagent main course anyway. You can get hummus from the natural section of any Meijer store. I recomend garlic flavored or the garden flavored, though original is just as great.

Spinach ricotta cannelloni
Quiche
