Tasty tofu dogs?!

Question:

Tasty tofu dogs?

I tried tofu hot dogs in the late 90s and also in 2000 because twice I went veg. Yuck, they were so nasty! XP Have they changed since? Are they tastier now? I bought some soy corn dogs and the soy hot dog tasted good, but I don't know what brand was used. Who here can tell of a tasty brand of soy dogs? I'm trying to go vegan, but need the resources to do so. When we take something away, it needs to be replaced or we'll go right back to the same habits, which I don't wanna do.

Anyone?

Answers:
Quorn has a great veggie dog, I'm afraid it's not vegan though (it contains eggs). Most of the other options like Morningstar Farms and Boca (you probably had Morningstar) are decent...grill them and throw on some sourkraut, ketchup and mustard.

quite possibly an oxymoronic statement. Tasty Tofu dogs? Like jumbo shrimp or military intelligence.

Well, are you vegan or just vegetarian? If you can eat dairy, try Yves Veggie Primo hot dogs. They are awesome and with all the fixings you won't be able to tell the difference!
If you're vegan, try Yves Spicy Italian 'sausages'.

i LOVE smart dogs. they taste realllyyy good. i think you'd like it. my brother who LOVES hot dogs prefers smart dogs now because theyre so much better for you.

The absolute BEST are the veggie corn dogs from Trader Joes. I eat these things all the time, and I never ate any type of hot dog or corn dog before I became a vegetarian. Definitely try those, or the ones from Morningstar. All their vegetarian products are good, so you won't go wrong with them!

I like Morningstar brand (they are found in the freezer section.
Also Boca makes a good italian sausage/bratwurst.
I also like Morning stars corn dogs.

Yves or Tofurkey
