What does Sikhism say about vegetarianism?!

Question:

What does Sikhism say about vegetarianism?

Yes, no, encouraged or discouraged?

Answers:
A true Sikh should NEVER consume meat of any kind (normal or halal/kosher).
"Sikhs" who eat meat are not true Sikhs. It is clearly written that meat is something no one should eat.

Guru Angad dev ji had said " Whatever is eaten while remembering god is like nectar itself".

So when we eat something we should always remember god while doing so and thank him.

encouraged

Encouraged. Pure Sikhs are pure veggies.

Sikhs are vegetarian.
