Hot Peppers?!
Hot Peppers?
How do I know how hot a pepper is before I buy it? Any signs?
Answers:
I've heard that the smaller the pepper is, the hotter it is. Apparently, peppers contain capsaicinoids, which produce that burned sensation in the mouth. These are found in the center of the pepper, and the closest thing to the center of the pepper is the seeds. Therefore, if there is less mass in the pepper, more of these capsaicinoids will be found in the edible part of the pepper. The more mass there is in the pepper, the more the capsaicinoids will be spread out, producing a lesser burning sensation.

do you want it hot? or not hot?
what kinda of pepper, if you want it hot, just leave the seeds in, if you want it extra hot eat alot of it, I eat serrano pepper or jalopeano pepper with every meal, me likes it spicy
Smoke a little weed then ask the pepper before you buy it
u can always break alittle piece an taste it (hee hee)
or theres also supposed to b something abt the smell, or how full it is inside (like if it has more seeds inside it means its spicier :S
You should learn to recognize the types of peppers. E.g. jalapenos are moderate, habaneros are super hot, anaheims and poblanos are mild, serranos and cayennes are hot, etc. Google to see images of them.
