Yupp i was at safeway today.. saw all those poor lobster in the tank saying "help me Help me" so we decided to save the lobster we could only save 12 of them cuz it cost 500 dollars.. but still.. poor lobsters.. ya.. SAVE THE LOBSTERS!

I think what you did shows you have a heart and can see the value in every living being. I also like your foundation. The only problems is do you think that buying the lobsters, you are creating more of a demand for them in the future? Sometimes there never seems to be a perfectly clear way to approach things but hey you saved 12 lives today which is great!
Ohkaaaaay.....what did you DO with them? Release them in a pot of boiling water per chance?
YAY!!!let's save the lobsters..i'm only 10+3 in age....so i can only be put down for 10 dollars...sorry i can't be much help.
To have a non profit that can take donations legally you need to have 501 c 3 status. And by buying the lobsters you are supporting the lobster industry, creating more demand for the lobsters. What do you plan on feeding them? They are scavengers they need dead fish, mussels, squid, worms etc. How does that fit into your 'saving' plan? Do you know they will start to eat eachother. What is you plan then? Those rubber bands are there to protect them from hurting and eating eachother.
How do you plan on providing for them and keeping them in the right environment? Are they Maine lobsters? Do you plan on returning them to Maine? They won't do well in a different ocean.
