Is pure cane sugar processed sugar?!

Question:

Is pure cane sugar processed sugar?

Answers:
If it's white in color, it's processed. Regardless of whether it's cane sugar or beet sugar.

Turbinado sugar or "raw sugar" is a light brown, and has been less processed.

Brown sugar used to be less processed, but now for the most part is just white sugar mixed with molasses.

High fructose corn syrup is the worst sweetener you can possibly ingest.

From a health standpoint, all of the above are considered processed sugar, all have the same calories and with the exception of the corn syrup, they all have the same impact on blood sugar (The syrup is much worse)

Unprocessed sugars are the ones found naturally in fruit and vegetables, and they're not nearly as bad for you.

It is proccessed to some degree, but no where near the amount white sugar is.

White sugar is made from sugar beets. Cane sugar tastes better and is nutrionally better for you as well.

Pure Cane Sugar is the sugar that comes directly from the cane. It is processed to become granulated.

Processed Sugar is basically the same thing, but is "more processed".

almost all sugar is processed, the worst sugar is white sugar, and the best is turbanado, or raw sugar.
