I am outraged that these people, Maccartneys, whoever they are, come to your house and force feed you, surly there is a law against this. Let's hope the police quickly arrest these malefactors.

I don't believe anyone forces us to do anything. Listen to those whose opions you like/agree with. Don't listen to the ones you don't. Don't remember anyone forcing vegetarian views on me.

well i am vegan so i dont mind them but i do understand that people preaching to you when you dont have the same views can be incredibly annoying. thats how i feel when ever some religious person tries to "show me the light."
I agree. I have known 2 vegetarian people. They were constantly trying to get me to stop eating meat; to the point of being insulting

also if the farmer uses cow manure as fertiliser then the food the cows ate winds up in the food chain

There are many vegetarians out there, but not all of us are vocal about it. Don't stereotype us into opinionated tree huggers, when, in reality, you could be sitting next to, or working with several vegetarians right now without even knowing it.
Many people are shocked when I tell them I am veggie because I keep my mouth shut about it. It is my choice not to eat meat, just like it is your choice to eat whatever you want.
They are not forcing you to do anything you don't want to do, and they are as entitled to their beliefs and opinions as much as you are..
I have been a veggie for years, don't wear leather shoes or any animal products.
Unless someone asks me outright or offers me something to eat that contains meat, they don't know that I am veggie I don't broadcast it.

We do have freedom of choice, just use it.
I think, in general, no celebrity should force feed us to do anything or believe certain things. If vegetarianism was so good for you then the government would talk about banning meat because the government seems to favour this approach when they want us to be healthy. Don't believe what celebrities say, they are not scientist, most of them are dumb airheads anyway.

Nobody's forcing you to do anything. I don't see anything wrong with a celebrity using their "star power" to draw attention to a cause they believe in. I've never heard any of the "stars" try to force their eating habits on anyone else. They're simply supporting a cause they agree with, just as anyone else would. Some celebrities support becoming vegetarian/vegan, others support not wearing fur, others WEAR fur, others promote milk or pizza or shoes or clothing or cars or cell phones. What's the difference?
I never heard of the McCartney's forcing their opinion on people. I don't like it when people force opinions about what and what not to eat (i.e. Peta). Even though I think it's wrong to eat meat I will not go up to someone eating a hamburger and make disgusting faces and tell them why they should be a vegetarian.

I have not heard of anyone forcing anyone to become vegetarian, although I have heard a lot of stories about parents and othe family members making vegetarians eat meat. And also of doctors forcing their patients to eat meat.

For your information, they are not "force feeding" you considering the fact that you've probably never even met them, especially eaten with them, where they were holding you at gunpoint while shoving vegetables, tofu, and fruits down your mouth. Shut the hell up.
