Well,...I'm not sure how this quote applies to vegetarians? I'm a vegetarian and am not hung up on people who aren't. Each of us has the right to choose: it's called "The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Part of our Constitution.
There is a group of thinkers who believe all living things, including vegetables are alive and are killed by consuming them. I'm not one of them. I chose several years ago to boycott the meat industry because of the way they harvest animals for slaughter, pumping them full of dangerous chemicals that may cause future health problems. Plus meat, can be really bad for you and out weigh the positive benefits.
how can people eat anything with eyes?
