Do vegetarians drink milk?!

Question:

Do vegetarians drink milk?

Answers:
Lacto-vegatarians drink milk. Vegans do not drink, eat, or use in any way any animal products, whatsoever.

some do. Vegans however do not.

soy milk

As a vegetarian you can but soy/almond milk really does taste better!

Some do vegans don't

yes vegans do not

Some vegetarians do drink milk and eat dairy products, since they're not actually eating the animals themselves. I don't even eat eggs, unless they're already in something, like bread or cakes. But vegans do not drink milk or eat dairy.

I drink low fat milk like 3-4 times a week. Usually with wheat cereal or chocolate milk!

i do and i drink soy milk too.

Technically, true vegetarians (as in definition of the word "vegetarian") do not drink milk or eat dairy.

Lacto-vegetarians can have milk dairy products.

Ovo-lacto-vegetarians can eat milk and dairy, as well as eggs.

Vegans have the same diets as vegetarians, but they also do not use any animal-tested products, wear animal products or anything else related to animals.

Honestly, most people are not going to refer to themselves as lacto or ovo-lacto or anything like that... we are stuck with rather silly terms on this matter. So in conclusion, people who simply state they are vegetarians may in fact, often drink milk.

:)

Technically:

- vegetarians do not consume anything that needs killing an animal (an egg is not an animal, unless it was fertilised).

- vegans do not consume anything that involves an animal in any way.

So yes, vegetarians drink milk if they want to.

YES iTS VEGANS THAT DONT HONEY BUN

The most common form of vegetarianism is a lacto-ovo vegetarian. Thats means they eat dairy and eggs. ALL vegetarians avoid products from dead animals. This includes all flesh, gelatin, animal rennet and some other secret ingredients in processed foods.

Depends how into the whole vegatarian thing, i mean it doesn't kill cows, and its not hurting them, but if ur a totalt freak with it NO MILK FOR YOU, im a vegatarian and i drink LOTS of Milk

Yes, with some exceptions such as the person is allergic to milk. Vegan's do not though, thats why they have soy milk which is really good man I wish I had some in the fridge right now lol.

Some vegetarians drink milk. Vegans and Raw Foodists do not.

no that's the pretend vegetarians who call themselves lacto vegetarians which is rather retarded if you don't mind me saying.

veggie heads drink soy, rice, potato and sometimes almond milks..

milk from animals has animal proteins in it... same with cheese.. eggs.. likewise.. those vegetarians who eat that must stop calling themselves vegetarians...

Some do...I happen to drink rice milk and it's excellent. It tastes very similar to skim milk from a cow.
{Ever wonder why humans are the only species on the planet that drink another species' milk...and they drink it LONG after the onset of adulthood? That's strange to me.}

they do until and unless they are vegan

yea it not meat so they can drink it. it only from an animal it an't the animal.
