You can get your oats, but wheat chaffs

They're two entirely different plants. Wheat is usually ground into flour and oats are usually left whole.

differenr origins

oats is form barley and wheat is another different grain. they are jsut two different grains. nothing to do much. barley is easy to digest and also filsl ur stomach. wheat sticks to the inner layer of ur stomach amkes it a little difficult for digestion.

All but one of those answers was wrong. They are simply two different grains.

What some of these people mean is that they are seeds from two different types of grass. Oats, barley, wheat, rye, rice, buckwheat, etc. are all just different seeds from different types of grass. We call them 'grain' for some reason instead of 'seed'.
