I would be using the vegetarian ham. There is a way to make French toast without eggs so why not a way to make a Monte Cristo.

And I do eat cheese.

1 cup soy milk
2 T nutritional yeast
2 T flour
1/2 t salt

Mix the ingredients and proceed as if you were making the sandwich with dead animals!

Please note that this isn't just vegetarian it's vegan.
And yes I did give everyone else thumbs-down.

Experience!!!

It wouldn't be a Monte Cristo without the egg and ham.

i am curious?what atrracts you to the sandwhich if not the eggs, the ham or the cheese, the only thing left is the french toast

perhaps you could coat the bread in eggless mayonaise?? it may have a french toast effect.....other than that. i would look in whole foods for a egg substitute, that you could dip the bread in. good luck.

use egg substitute anduse your meatless proteins it is just as good trust me
