Raw diets are very good for the internal organs and skin such as acne. They detox the body of all the impurities caused by refined foods such as white breads, sugars, and trans fats.
Basically raw diets are almost all the same. Raw is the key word. You should eat things that are natural. Not treated with chemicals or hormones. All the veggies should be organic. Basically a raw diet is strictly vegetables and fruits, waters, juices that have to be diluted with 50% water, fibers, grains, legumes, rice- brown or basmati, oils- olive oil, nuts -no peanuts , seeds unsalted, You want to avoid all sugars.
The Benefits of a Detox "raw" diet are: Clearer skin, more energy, increased concentration and clarity, increased bowel movements.
Some negative side effects are: Headache for a few days, excessive diarhea or constipation, light headed. This is because of all the toxins built up in the body that are coming out, your body is being cleansed.
It is recommended for a person to do a Detox diet 1-2 times a year. No one can avoid toxins, they are every where in the air. but we can manage them by eating healthy.
