Do vegetarians eat eggs, since they came from an animal?!
Do vegetarians eat eggs, since they came from an animal?
Answers:
Depends on what type of vegetarian a person is. Some vegetarians are Vegans and do not eat eggs, drink milk, etc., anything that comes from an animal. There are other vegetarians that strictly observe the not eating meat principle.
Some vegetarians do. Most veagans don't.
Some do and some don't. It depends on what type of vegetarians that they are. Vegans eat nothing from any animal.
A vegan is a person who does not eat eggs, now a vegetarian can eat eggs. See a vegan will not eat anything that came from a animal and a vegetarian will eat anything as long as it is not meat
Vegetarians don't eat meat, so they might. Vegans don't eat eggs, dairy, or meat.
Depends on the person I guess. Some people I know are "vegetarian" and still eat fish.
no
It's all personal preference and beliefs. As a general rule though vegetarians do, vegans dont. But i've come across vegetarians that eat seafood. (are they not animals too!)
By right a vegetarian should not take egg....But don't know why, some does...
Vegans do not, but most vegetarians do. Chickens lay eggs regardless if they are fertilized or not. I believe most eggs sold to market are not fertilized.
In fact I can't think of an egg sold to market that is fertilized unless it is advertised as a fertilized egg. When have you heard of a chick coming out of a store bought egg?
Addendum: Added a link go down to fertilized question. Grocery store eggs are not fertilized therefore not killing any animal when eating a chicken egg. I should have remembered this, I was a vegetarian for a year.
Depends upon the religion for example a cast called the jains and also the kacchis(forgive me if the spelling is wrong)cannot even eat onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, radishes, garlic and onions and the hindu religion most casts are allowed to eat eggs while some are not.It depends upon the rules of their religion.I am a vegetarian but I eat eggs.
I do...but generally we buy free-range cage free eggs, and buying them from an actual person helps too sometimes (like the little signs on the side of the road that says eggs for sale:))
Eggs are not fertilized...we're not eating an embryo....
Vegans don't eat eggs.
but most vegetarians do but they buy free-range
There are different types of vegetarians, and they go by different names. Like vegan, for one. Some simply don't eat meat, and some don't eat any animal byproduct. There are a few variations of being 'vegetarian.'
Yes. And some eat/drink dairy even though it comes from a goat or cow. It's called being lacto-ovo vegitarian.
Keep in mind vegitarianism isn't just about animal rights. It's also a healthy eating habit.
vegetarians do vegans dont.
vegetarians eat eat eggs and dairy. vegans don't. a lot of vegetarians try to only eat eggs grown on free range farms where the birds aren't kept in tiny cages but are allowed to roam naturally.
i don't, but some vegetarians do. they're called lacto-ovo vegetarians (lacto meaning they eat dairy as well) or ovo vegetarians (meaning they don't eat dairy but they do eat eggs).
this is why I don't eat eggs

vegans- no
vegetarians- yes
vegetarians tend to eat eggs - and for ethical reasons, many vegetarians will be careful to buy farm fresh/free-range eggs.
fyi - Eggs are not unborn chicks. They do not become fetuses until they have been fertalized by a rooster.
Vegetarians just don't eat animals cause animals are killed before they become meat.
Animals are not killed to get eggs so it's okay for Vegetarians to eat eggs. Vegetarians can even drink dairy milk! Vegetarians think: So what if it comes from an Animal as long as the animal hasn't had to die for it! Not so for Vegans though Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals, no eggs, not even dairy milk.
