What brands of soymilk would you recommend?!
What brands of soymilk would you recommend?
I've tried a few brands when they were on sale. I like Silk but it can be expensive (well...at least in the inner city of Detroit...) What are some other good brands?
Answers:
Silk Enriched (light blue carton) is very good. Our 7 year old loves Silk Very Vanilla (purple carton). It's often on sale at Kroger's for $2.69 1/2 gallon. Kroger's Naturally Preferred is also good, non-GMO, for $2.50 1/2 gal. Soy Dream is too creamy for my taste, but Soy Dream Chocolate is the ULTIMATE for making frozen popsicles!!! I really don't care for Edensoy, but your mileage may vary... Rice Dream tastes watered down to me. Expense is relative, considering all the harm caused to both people and cattle by the use of animal milk.
i like Silk..its not that more expensive in detroit than other places ( i lived in st. clair shores and its about the same price there as it is here in Pismo Beach, Ca) but it might be more expensive than 8th continent (i think thats what its called)..i think thats actually second to Silk
Silk, Chocolate - MMMAAAHhh.
I like Silk Vanilla and judging by the previous 2 answers that seems to be the choice of others as well.
The "Organics" brand sold at Safeway and Vons is really good too, and a lot cheaper.
My parents liked the Silk brand. They said it was the most palatable of the brands they had tried.
Organic Valley. It might be more expensive or cheaper depending on the store.
Walmart has a generic that's really cheap but beware, it has cow milk in it.
Miller high life
your local grocer brand. i found that good ;)
Silk is good but you are right it is expensive. I have tried many but really don't' taste enough difference between them to make me favor one over another. Therefore, I like to experiment with different brands.
You might find that the store brand is just as tasty and much cheaper.
silk is good! i like the great value brand, its cheap, but good!
