I lost 5 pounds, went from 150 - 145, in the first month and just stayed at that, I was maintaining at 150 before that. You can gain weight, you just have to get excercise and all your nutrition. The general rule is vegans get skinny, meaties get fat, when they don't excercise. Also theres alot of internal weight you lose over time on Raw, like built up intensinal waste and whatnot. I've been totally raw for a couple of months now, and it is the best. I feel better then I have since I was a kid, almost too much energy, and I love eating every meal.

i'm not sure if thats the best reason to go raw food....exercise works too :)
Just stop eating fatty food then u can loose weight.
i will be doing raw food diet from now on, I expect to lose all my fat, about 15 lbs but gain 30 lbs of lean muscle within 1 year, I will eat more then I used to so hopefully I will bulk up in weight, instead of losing weight
just be low fat vegan and you will lose lots of weight. beleive me
