Question:

I just LOVE bananas i'm crazy for them?

but i love them in a particular way, my mom bought me bananas that were more green than my yellow ones i loved my yellow ones because the inside wasn't tangy but soft and light tasting. do i wait for the banana to turn yellow? they turn yellow right? how long if so?

Answers:
yes they turn yellow, if you want to ripen them quickly, get a piece of cloth and wrap the banana and hide in dry and dark place, check every two days until it reach the suitable ripeness.

personal experience

yeah wait for it to turn yellow

IT'LL TAKE ABOUT FOUR DAYS - - - IN THE MEAN TIME GET A BUNCH FROM THE STORE THAT ARE MORE YELLOW OR RIPE

put them on top of your fridge or microwave.. they will turn yellow within 2 days.. i promise...

yes they will turn yellow very soon.

I was just reading Good Things Martha Stewart Magazine and they have a mini article on speeding up the process to ripen fruit. If you place your green bananas in a paper bag, fold down the top and seal it with a clothespin, the natural gas that comes from the fruit should ripen it within a day or so. Keep an eye on it though because you don't want them to ripen too fast. If they do, you could always make banana bread.

yellow banana's yummy..........
do not refrigerate

only eat the yellow bananas (not like the snow)

they have a lot of potasium and are very healthy for you .
I got about 8 varieties in the garden

it doesn't take long to ripen, especially if the weather is warm.

yes... give it c couple of days to a week.... try a banana smoothie with milk a banana and frozen yoghurt... yummy!!!

Never put them in the fridge, in the microwave or near citrus fruit.

That said, I suggest you wait a day or two until they turn yellow. Store them in room temperature.
