Answers:
Here's one for a Superbowl party:

1 can vegetarian chili (Try Amy's or Hormel brand vegetarian chili)
1 container Tofutti cream cheese (Tofutti brand cream cheese is a vegan cream cheese substitute that is fairly easy to find in most health foods stores and well stocked grocers.)

PREPARATION:
Open can. Open cream cheese. Combine well. Serve with chips. It couldn't be simpler and it couldn't be tastier.

. . .That's a hard one. there are some recipies for brownies that aren't bad. I just can't remember what site they are on. Try looking up VEGAN RECIPIES on search.yahoo.com. You'll be really happy. Trust Me!

Have you tried vegweb.com? There's a lot of really good recipes there.

A cress sandwich? No butter, of course.... and it must be unlevened bread because 'Yeast is murder!'
Or grass maybe?

Veggie sub from subway w/ no cheese or mayo. Veggie whopper from BK same way, Cambell's Tomato soup w/veggie hot dogs cut up or saltines. Pasta (careful some has egg), rice, some chinese food, veggie fajitas. Go to peta's website and they have a list of common grocery store food "I Can't Belive It's Vegan". Good for you and good luck!!!

I do baked potatos with cheese. FIRST of all i bake the potatoes. THEN i take them out cut them in half. I scrape out the in side the potatoe part(put in med bowl)add enough milk to make them creamy as i mash them. I also put salt pepper to taste ad some butter. Then i put the potatoes back into the shells and i place a slice or graded cheese on top. I place them back in the oven to heat back up and melt the cheese.

anything with tofu or beans...black beans and rice girl thats is vegan u get tomatoes and cilantro and oil spice black beans make a sauce and then make rice easy and lots of protein!

Hi Silverrose,
Here is one I love---get Swiss chard (similar to spinach or collard greens), chopped garlic, scallions and some firm tofu. Cut the tofu into small cubes. Put the tofu in a frying pan with some olive or sesame oil along with the chopped garlic and slice up the scallions (small green onions) and throw those in too. Once it starts to brown, throw in the chard (I normally cut the stems off first, but some of my friends like the stems) cover and just let it simmer until it is cooked (the same texture as spinach when cooked)--YUMMY!! You can add some chopped tomatoes if you like as well.

One that is not quite as easy, but just as good is garbanzo beans (I like them out of the can because they cook faster), chopped tomatoes, tofu (cut into bite size pieces again) and curry powder---I mix this one up a little by adding black beans sometimes or chard at other times, you can put this over rice or just eat in a tortilla. Fantastic, quick and easy!
A good place to go is vegweb.com, Peta.com (they even have shopping lists for every aisle) or vegetariantimes.com (some of these might be duplicate suggestions from other responders as well).
Good luck and if all else fails, join a veg group and you can get a lot of suggestions from them as well, I know I trade a lot of recipes with my sister and my daughter's friends, we are always trying something new.

my boyfriend is a vegitarian also and we just made a veggie lasagna and it was great.you can find recipes all over the net, ours was betty crocker

I just wanted to say that the "Veggie Burger" from BK is not VEGAN and if you goto their website and look up the nutritional facts on the "veggie burger" you will see that it says that it is not VEGAN. As it contains whey, eggs.

As far as a "quick" recipe. Salad is always a quick fix.
