What does a germ eat?!

Question:

What does a germ eat?

Answers:
Smaller germs. And you.

your essence

i have no idea and i don't want to.........

Hmmm, Good question. My guess is it would depend on what kind of germ it was.

For bacteria, fungi and protozoans: they absorb whatever is in their immediate environment. They may secrete enzymes specific to their host. A bacteria that infects plants usually won't have enzymes capable of digesting animal matter and vice versa.

A virus doesn't eat. A virus uses its DNA or RNA and hijacks the machinery of a cell it infects to create more viruses.

a germ as in those bacteria things? Or as in a person on some wierd diet?
