Yes

Eating celery burns more calories, however there is not much nutrionel value in celery. It's OK for a snack between meals.
And it doesn't burn calories overnight, its just the chweing on the raw celery that uses up the caloric value of the celery itself.

You can certainly eat raw celery. It is used in salads. It is low cal but has no effect on metabolism.

YAH YOU CAN EAT IT RAW!!! ITS VERY NUTRISHOUS

Of course you can. I don't know about burning calories but makes a great diet food. Has lots of fiber and water, with few calories, in it. Celery sticks make a great snack food. I like to eat it with just a little bit of peanut butter too.

Sure you can eat it raw. You may want to peel it as there's this fine layer of stringy fibre on the outside. Just peel them off. Celery is a good source of dietary fibre and it contains a lot of water. Practically no fat and the only carbohydrates it has is the fibre, which is not digested. It's even better eating it raw because whatever nutrients it contains won't be lost to cooking.

Eating raw celery with peanut butter is great, and you can try adding some raisins too. Celery + Peanut butter + Raisins = Good snack. However, if you're trying to lose calories, then maybe you should skip the peanut butter.

Raw celery is fine but it certainly does not burn calories over night on it's own. Your body is always buring calories..even when you sleep.

Celery doesn't really cause your body to burn more calories. It is good tasting and good for you. It is ok to eat it raw. Make sure that anything you are going to eat raw is organic. You don't want to be eating pesticides that aren't coming off right way. Besides, organic celery tastes way better.
