Two things, first the answer.

I'm vegan and have flown many times, it's simple, when booking the ticket request your 'special diet' then when you check in at the airport confirm that they have prepared a special meal for you, sometimes they forget and you will need to get them running around at the last minute to get it on the flight for you.

It also depends on which class you're flying, if it's first or business class you don't get your veggie meal or 'special meal' on a tray, they bring you serving trolley with a variety of dishes that you choose from and they serve you what you want.

Next thing. I have a relative called Aaron Slo..., an A.I. expert, ex Zimbabwean, not you is it?

when i booked flights on-line with Turkish airlines i was offered a choice of different meals IE vegetarian or halal. my advice would be to phone the airline concerned. good luck

You ask the airline. If they are catering to these special dietary requirements, they should have all the information associated with the same as well.

You can phone the airline, but good luck finding something you can eat. They're not likely to have a good selection.

Call the airline directly. Tell them what type of diet you follow, adn they should accomodate you.

Most domestic flights no longer carry meal service, however, so it may not be an issue.

Call the airlines

when you confirm your flight you can ask them what meal options are available and they'll tell you.

you would need to ask when booking the flights. and then you should make sure before you get on the plane so that you know what you're getting and they know who to give it to.

most continentail airline services don't even offer meals anymore.

Just ask when you book the ticket. What I've found is that there's usually one 'standard' meal which has meat in it, then a different meal that is vegetarian/kosher/vegan etc etc, so effectively you either get one or the other. I suppose they would do something different if you wanted a different meal because of allergies though. I always tell them when I get on board that I've asked for a veggie meal- Emirates forgot me on the way back from Sri Lanka and all I got was some bendy carrots and manky celery and a little pot of hummus. I was not really a happy bunny about that!, so I always tell them when I get on now.
